What makes Cover Fire different from the other agencies, don’t you all hire the same musicians anyway?
When you book with coverfire entertainment, the differences begin from the very first contact, when you enquire about an event, you are speaking directly to a musician who has been performing professionally and has hundreds of successful events worth of experience. When you get a response full of enthusiasm and fun ideas on how we can make your night special, they care, because they live and breathe entertainment! You’ve heard of direct to consumer businesses, where the maker of the product sells directly to the consumer? We are as close to that as you get in entertainment, with the added benefit of having a single point of contact to ensure no detail gets missed.
Why is my quote so different to other agencies for the same thing?
The model for modern agencies works like a retail store, the supplier (musician) sells their product (musical performance) to a retailer (agency) who sells it on to you as the consumer with a profit margin (retail price).
At Cover Fire, we are the supplier and the retailer all in one as we are all performing musicians! There is no-one in the middle between the booking and the performance, however to ensure we provide the best possible night of groovy DJ’ing, Band performance or soilist/Duo we only work with the best session musicians in SE Queensland and we pride ourselves on paying rates that reflect that exceptional level of quality so the savings on admin and middle management go directly to ensuring only the most accomplished performers are on our payroll. We also uphold the most stringent working relationships, we pay our musicians superannuation and they all have work cover and public liability. Sadly this is not yet industry standard and some choose to do the wrong thing meaning they can operate slightly cheaper, however we believe in doing the right thing by our artists and by our customers so everyone is able to have a great time.
